Gore will have to find new “ManBearPig”

Al “Village Idiot” Gore went on another rant yesterday, bloviating on about ‘global warming,’ even as the false science behind his giant rent-seeking scheme was collapsing around him.

In those rare moments where I’m NOT convinced that Al Gore is a complete idiot, I’m convinced that he’s engaged in a criminal enterprise to enrich himself. Either way, he should be imprisoned or institutionalized.

It’s beginning to look like the “Deniers” are winning in a rout…

…just as I’ve been predicting since before I started blogging it 2004

Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

* Data for vital ‘hockey stick graph’ has gone missing
* There has been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before – but NOT due to man-made changes

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

This has been known all along by some of these folks, and I’m hoping there will some indictments, but I doubt it. There are people who should do prison time for promoting what they knew was a lie. Al Gore would do. He’s always wanted to be a religious figure. Let’s nail him up.

World may not be warming, say scientists

The United Nations climate panel faces a new challenge with scientists casting doubt on its claim that global temperatures are rising inexorably because of human pollution.

In its last assessment the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said the evidence that the world was warming was “unequivocal”.

It warned that greenhouse gases had already heated the world by 0.7C and that there could be 5C-6C more warming by 2100, with devastating impacts on humanity and wildlife. However, new research, including work by British scientists, is casting doubt on such claims. Some even suggest the world may not be warming much at all.

“The temperature records cannot be relied on as indicators of global change,” said John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the IPCC.

The doubts of Christy and a number of other researchers focus on the thousands of weather stations around the world, which have been used to collect temperature data over the past 150 years.

These stations, they believe, have been seriously compromised by factors such as urbanisation, changes in land use and, in many cases, being moved from site to site.

Daily Howler – Gore to make “climate” a “moral” issue

It is really hard to make a moral issue out of greed, lies, and imposition of a soft form of tyranny Al, but go nuts trying.

Gore Out To Change The World

In Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis, Gore argues that the prospect of disruptive climate change presents “a unique and unprecedented challenge” because its impact will unfold over decades and affect societies worldwide. Those are bigger units of measurement than political leaders usually work with when trying to build coalitions for action. “In other words, because of its planetary scope, this crisis masquerades as an abstraction,” Gore writes.

Huh? Check out the rest of the drivel in this National Journal interview.

NJ: Is the challenge more political than it is technological?

Gore: It’s fundamentally moral, ethical, and spiritual. To solve this crisis we cannot rely only on fact-based analysis and the kinds of short-term responses to which we are predisposed. We have to draw upon a capacity that we also have to form longer-term goals based on deep values, and build a sufficient consensus necessary to stay on a path toward those goals.

Perhaps because the latest “fact based analysis” shows a collapse of Gore’s pseudo-science? “Deep values” must refer to either religious beliefs (a core tenet of the environmental left) or perhaps the deep (cash) values Gore intends to earn by cornering the market of fraudulent instruments (carbon off-sets) his lobbying has created.

NJ: In the book, you are certainly skeptical that nuclear energy could grow to the magnitude that advocates such as Graham envision.

Gore: I am not an opponent of nuclear power…

Al Gore is an inveterate liar.

Right all along on “Global Warming”

I have a lot of “green” friends that I’m going to be collecting money from in the near future. Of course, they will then argue that the “man-made global cooling” is the next dire threat to the world.

Regardless, it has been fun to have been right all along.

The Climate Change Climate Change

Among the many reasons President Barack Obama and the Democratic majority are so intent on quickly jamming a cap-and-trade system through Congress is because the global warming tide is again shifting. It turns out Al Gore and the United Nations (with an assist from the media), did a little too vociferous a job smearing anyone who disagreed with them as “deniers.” The backlash has brought the scientific debate roaring back to life in Australia, Europe, Japan and even, if less reported, the U.S.

In April, the Polish Academy of Sciences published a document challenging man-made global warming. In the Czech Republic, where President Vaclav Klaus remains a leading skeptic, today only 11% of the population believes humans play a role. In France, President Nicolas Sarkozy wants to tap Claude Allegre to lead the country’s new ministry of industry and innovation. Twenty years ago Mr. Allegre was among the first to trill about man-made global warming, but the geochemist has since recanted. New Zealand last year elected a new government, which immediately suspended the country’s weeks-old cap-and-trade program.

The number of skeptics, far from shrinking, is swelling. Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe now counts more than 700 scientists who disagree with the U.N. — 13 times the number who authored the U.N.’s 2007 climate summary for policymakers. Joanne Simpson, the world’s first woman to receive a Ph.D. in meteorology, expressed relief upon her retirement last year that she was finally free to speak “frankly” of her nonbelief. Dr. Kiminori Itoh, a Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming “the worst scientific scandal in history.” Norway’s Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the “new religion.” A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton’s Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled. (Both Nature and Science magazines have refused to run the physicists’ open letter.)

When ever you come across a group of people who want to shut down debate (ANY DEBATE), immediately and aggressively fight them with all you have. ” Shutting down debate” is a core strategy of the hard left, tyrants, and liars.

The truth wins out, but only if you forcefully and resolutely keep speaking it.

Proud to be a Denier of Anthropic Global Warming

Here is a great site that you can point your friends to regarding the nonsense of man made(Anthropic) global warming.

The Deniers-Condensed

There is nothing wrong with denying man-made global warming. We were right to be skeptical in 1988, and we were right to be skeptical all the way through to 2008, when the silliness of the idea finally started to sink in with enough people to erode the idiocy behind the theory.

Obama’s bad timing on Global Warming

Obama vows action on global warming

After huddling with former Vice President Al Gore about climate change, President-elect Barack Obama declared, “The time for delay is over, the time for denial is over.”

While it is a problem, it is also an opportunity to create jobs, make economy stronger, and make the nation safer, even as the United States helps save the planet, he said.

The collapsing case for “man made global warming” ought to make Saint Obama think twice about using the word “denial.”

I take comfort in Providence. On the same day Obama met with the cartoonish and insipid Al Gore, Houston and New Orleans say snow flurries with some light accumulation. By the time the sun’s cycle of solar flares returns and takes us out of our potential ice age, the scientific community will be taking grants to artificially HEAT the globe.

Rare Snow Blankets South Louisiana

NEW ORLEANS — People across south Louisiana called their friends, grabbed their cameras and headed outside this morning to document a rare and wonderful sight: snow.

The last snowfall in the New Orleans area was on Christmas Day in 2004. Before that, 1989 was the last significant snowfall. The sight is so rare that many children were seeing snow for the first time, and adults were seeing it for the first time in years.

About 8 inches of snow fell in Amite, where a building’s roof also collapsed from the snow’s weight.
