Everywhere you look, the news is the same…

Public Employee Unions are bankrupting everything they touch

At what point in time will you join the fight to end their reign of greed and error?

Trickle-Down Misery in L.A.
Mayor Villaraigosa’s nightmare numbers.

The city is chin-deep in California’s trickle-down misery, and last week Richard Riordan, who was L.A. mayor from 1993 to 2001, coauthored with Alexander Rubalcava—an investment adviser—a Wall Street Journal column declaring the city’s fiscal crisis “terminal.” They say Villaraigosa should “face the fact” that “between now and 2014 the city will likely declare bankruptcy.” Villaraigosa says that will not happen. But look what has happened.

For 15 years Villaraigosa was an organizer for the Service Employees International Union and the city’s teachers’ union. Now he is trying to cope with, and partially undo, largesse for unionized public employees: “I have to sign the checks on the front, not just the back.”

The stupidity of this man knows no bounds. REALLY, you now have to “sign the front” of the check. Did you even give a damn about that when you were a stinking SEIU THUG, A—OLE!!!

I can only say this America. It was nice while it lasted. We had a great run, and a very good run at greatness.

In the end however, we were brought down by our own success. The dingbat soccer mom shoveling money into the maw of the teachers union while stupidly believing it was benefiting her kids, combined with the idiocy of believing that public employees could retire at 55 with obscene pensions and full health benefits, conspired to turn America into debt-soaked Euro-state.

I’m more of a conservative than a libertarian, so it hurts me to say this. Just shrug. If you can afford it, stop working, stop hiring, stop putting effort in to your own destruction. Take a year off, get politically active, and take America back from the thugs (SEIU, Teachers’ Unions, AFSCME) who destroyed (or are destroying) her.
