wow you Sir are a fucking idiot, I work for chysler. we no longer have pension, my max pay is $19.28, no one has seen cost of living since 2005. the people who are 1 tier make 28 an hour *good job on adding 2 dollors*. also I would love for you to come work in the plant for a day. we hired a 3rd shift , and 300 people quit in a week. most of us spend more time in that hell hole, then at our own homes. the only thing you are correct about is management.

legalize concealed carry!!!! do you think that all Indians own cars?
First it is almost impossible to get a fire arm licence in India due to draconian laws . and if by good luck one gets one pistol if purchased legally costs more than 2000$$$ (Two thousand US dollars) as it is state monopoly to produce and price guns (so poor man is doomed unless he buys it illegally for $100 hundred and risks imprisonment if caught!!). So there is need to change the whole system of obtaining guns as a matter of at least legal right and fair competition in production.

Lynn,

Thanks for posting.

First, I'm highly skeptical of police and fire unions, and have no problem get rid of them as well. That said, they put their lives on the line in ways that teachers don't. Walker was clearly playing a little politics with singling them out, but that's politics. Divide and conquer.

My bet is that these unions are still fighting him on this bill, even though he singled them out.

The Kochs are no different from Phoenix university founder John Sperling or Progressive Insurance billionaire funding the radical left. Ted Gill of Colorado put millions into flipping the state blue. I have no problem with political spending on either of the aisle, as it is access to free speech.

You'd probably like nothing better than stopping the Kochs or Business from funding campaign, while Union thugs continue to fund the Democrats campaign to bankrupt America. I am more fair. Let everyone fund everything they like with no restrictions or contribution limits.

The left is LOADED with rich donors, who, frankly are more creative than the Bozos on the right who fund the same groups and consultants.

I am a critic of corporate greed, but I have a choice not to buy their products. I'm stuck with the obscene property and income taxes generated by the insatiable greed of the public worker. Greed is a human failing, and applies equally to corporate toadies - who are siding more and more with the Czarist left of Obama, as long as they can keep their coke and porn parties in the Hamptons and LA.

I notice their invite lists are full of Obama administration toadies. Seriously. Dump the cheap class war rhetoric. It doesn't solve anything.

Both parties are corrupt, and most politicians are forced to make compromises.

Police and fire unions, which have some of the most expensive benefits but who supported Mr. Walker’s campaign for governor, are exempted from Mr. Walker\\\'s bill.

That\\\'s an important point here. Unions are fine with him if they side politically with him.

What about the corporate pigs? You know, the ones who are funding the Tea Party groups, made up of just regular folks like the billionaire Koch Brothers? Why aren\\\'t people up in arms about corporate greed and their hijacking of democracy?

An anti-corporate, anti-immigrant populist who considers Milton Friedman a hero! Crazy. So while you're against foreign people coming into your country, you're totally for foreign corporations to do so? Strange. You're almost exactly opposite of what you claim to be.

The answer is....public employee, no union.
Sorry, no collective bargaining either. Life
just isn't fair. Welcome to the 21st century.
Fat chance that will happen.

Jordan,

It's also a hazing process. The system is designed to weed out the talented and independent, and create Union Drone, who then gets tenure, and fights for the union. It's an insidious and evil engine of greed and mediocrity.

California schools continue to produce illiterates, math cripples and non-thinkers. Yet the California Teacher\'s Association continues their stranglehold on education bilking cities, counties and the state out of billions of dollars. This criminal group refuses to allow the firing of incompetent teachers while rewarding all teachers with huge retirement funds. This action is grinding to a halt as California parents are starting to get wise to the scam.

My wife and I have home-taught each of our four children, absolutely refusing their participation in California public schools. Two of our children, a son and daughter, are well on their way to completing 4-year university educations in engineering and pre-med, respectively, each at the top of their classes. Our youngest two will soon finish our \"home education program\" and have scored high on ACT tests.

Not only have our children excelled at our hands, they are socially adept, prolific writers and thinkers and have excelled in music and sports. It\'s too bad that many parents lack the wherewithall to teach, train, inspire and challenge their own children. It\'s also too bad that our California schools have NEVER been up to the task either.

Hi Bruno,

It\\\\\\\'s been a long time. I can see you\\\\\\\'re still fighting the good fight. You could have made a point regarding Ms. Lewis\\\\\\\'s comment that many teachers leave the profession after five years. Such departures needs to be put in this context: females make up the vast majority of elementary ed. majors. As a result many of them leave teaching because in the span of the five years following graduation, they get married, have children and decide to be stay-at-home moms. It happens all the time.

My six-year-old daughter was victim of a bullying attack on playground last year and school administration did nothing about it. I have filed formal complaint against school principal, hoping the Mellon Building would hold her accountable. Instead, they have covered for each other. I have documented from the very beginning what happened. I contacted the Illinois State Board and was told to go to Regional Office of Education in Rantoul. Regional told me they have no control. Contacted News-Gazette and they never followed up - maybe afraid of lawsuit themselves? I was forced to remove my daughter from the school, as I feared for her safety. Champaign Unit 4 schools are not safe, as they let the repeat offenders off. It is like reverse-discrimination. I am happy to send my formal document if you are interested.

any chance you can get your

Great write-up on Mitch. BTW,
Thanks,
